Restaurant Review: Döner Haus

In the next instalment of my blog I will be reviewing a place I assume a lot of you haven’t heard of, this place being Döner Haus in Glasgow.

Based in central Glasgow it is only about a 5-minute walk from Glasgow central train station, making it an easy place to get to and from and worth a try if you are in town.

It is located on 85 W Nile St, Glasgow G1 2SH

Look at the menu here if you are wanting to try something a little bit different https://www.donerhaus.uk/menu

Döner Haus specialise in German cuisine, ranging from things like Kebaps, (essentially an upscale doner kebab). I usually get the checkpoint cheesy kebap whenever I go here, and I’ll insert a picture below to show you what it looks like.

If Kebabs are not usually your thing, then do not worry, there are other options like Teller, Schnitzel, or currywurst to name a few. There are also a lot of sides to go along with each main, the usual things like onion rings or skin on fries are offered.

In my opinion the best side they offer is the Kreuzberg fries, which is Berlin döner or chicken shawarma and fries, tossed in chilli sauce. Which you can see in the picture above

For the beer lovers among you then this place is great to go to for something out of the ordinary, they offer a range of 6 different draught beers such as LÖWENBRÄU or SPATEN HELLES to name a couple.

I can say for certain that I have never had a better donner kebab meal in my life, hence the reason why I am saying that this is a must try if you are a lover for this kind of thing.
